Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We rescue and rehome cats and kittens in our area, which may have come in for various reasons - sometimes people move and leave their cat, sometimes their owner dies, sometimes they are found wandering and injured and sometimes they are handed in when people just can't cope anymore!
We help with feral colonies - these can be a big problem in both urban and rural areas, and our dedicated team of volunteers do their best to trap, neuter, and return theses feral cats. We care for long term ill and elderly cats - we;re always looking for permanent foster homes for these cats, and in the mean time they need to be looked after and given their medication when necessary!
