About this Found Dog

Large short hair male dog, appears to be neutered. Roughly around 2+ years old. Overall, his health seems good, but he does have scratches and other marks on his face. (He chases squirrels so I'm wondering if it was from those types of interactions) He is very sweet, not aggressive to people, loves pets, and was someone's good boy. He is very reactive to small animals like cats and squirrels and wants to hunt for them. He wanders with another male dog, and they stick together. They have been wandering my neighborhood since February 6th. Their weight seems to be more stable, but only because I feed them. According to the city, both dogs were from a home that burned down nearby. I'm unsure who owned the home and if they have looked for their dogs. After contacting the city, they stated they would hand it over to the Mayor, but after calling three times, they haven't provided any help. My home life isn't to owning a dog, and they have been a hassle on the wildlife. (And I own a cat, which they seem very interested in harming) I'll be feeding them and helping them as much as I can, but the rest of the neighborhood seems to scare them off and not provide any help for those two. I need help finding a way to get these two into a better position and can provide food, a little bit of cash, and my time.
