After he had been gone about 24 hours, I spoke loudly outside heard a faint meow. I kept talking and he kept meowing and I was about to track him down 15' up in a tree 150' from our house in the woods adjacent to our house. My stayed at the bottom of the tree as I gather clippers, climbing rope, cat carrier extension ladder. After about an hour of bushwhacking and climbing I was able to get him down. He was dehydrated, hungry but unscathed.
