About this Lost Cat
Wolfy has been staying with a friend while we have work done on our house. Friend has a dog, and thinks Wolfy got out sometime Friday, June 21st while he was letting the dog out in the backyard (fully fenced). We thought he got out once a couple of weeks ago, but he was heard and found behind the fridge later the same evening. This time it's been over 48 hours and we have no sign of him. One window screen was off a window in the backyard with a big hole in it like something was clawing to get in, so far that coupled with not hearing him anywhere inside and him not coming out for attention in the night like he usually does are all we have to go on that he could have gotten out. We've put his litter box, scratching post, and food/water outside under the back porch but if he got out the yard (for instance if he scrambled up the fence in a panic and now doesn't know how to get back in 😓) I'm not sure that will do much good. Please keep your eyes and ears peeled for him! He is a master of hiding and very hard to see... like a ninja. 🙄 He likes small, dark spaces so be aware around your cars, sheds, bushes... anywhere there's any kind of hole or space he could make into a cat cave! Wolfgang (Wolfy) As of sometime Friday, June 21 City: Allen Neighborhood: Cottonwood Bend Street: Red Tip Dr. NOTE: We only a few weeks ago moved from a house on Michelson Ln (Heritage Park neighborhood) where we rented for two years. In between homes at the moment. • Microchipped • Neutered male • SMALL in size • 1-3 years old • Medium-hair (almost a long haired cat but not quite -- his neck is the fluffiest part, tail is only semi floofy but still bushy compared to a short-haired cat) • All black (very faint white strays of fur on a tiny spot of his front paw) but with a chocolate brown sheen when he's in the sun. Has a black patch on the inside top of his mouth. • Has all his claws • Is just growing back a patch of floof on his neck where he got shaved at the vet for staples (now removed) • Lots of paw fluff between his toes (which makes him even quieter on his feet!) He is good-natured & friendly but spooks extremely easily -- most likely he is hiding somewhere and not wandering around and may not respond to strangers. Will probably dart off. Please message me if you think you see him OR if you hear any meowing!!! He has a delicate girlish-sounding meow unless he's doing his desperate cry (eg. going to the vet or getting a bath after climbing inside the fireplace 🙄). He gets very scared by loud noises and unfamiliar things and is likely to either panic and get himself into more trouble or freeze and not get away from trouble in time. 😞
