About this Found Dog
My name is Eddie. The reason I'm reaching is because I have a dog in dire need of a good, loving, and responsible home. For the past few weeks there has been a little pitbull at the wolf river Greenway on north highland Street. We were reaching record heat, so my sister decided to bring him home. Emaciated, covered in wounds, but very friendly. Either he got in a few altercations with other dogs, was used for fighting and dumped, or got away. We don't know for certain. We brought him into our home, but he is reactive to our dogs(not when he's in cage/more like fearful). We have a German shepherd(who is territorial), cane corso(extremely friendly), and a smaller dog who is Fiestty and could seriously get hurt. He's in tact, great with people and would make a perfect family dog. He's good indoors, loves his walks, and plays as well. I'm not certain about how he is with children as I don't have any. We got him scanned for a chip, tried the nextdoor app, Facebook, pawboost, you name it. The shelters were honest with us and said he would more than likely be put down. I beg of you, please help us find a home for him that will keep him inside,vet check ups, and has a fence. I can't bare to send him off to his death, but he is not compatible with our home.
