Turns out, a nearby neighbor had found my dog and tried to claim her as their own. Bought her toys and everything a new pet would need. EVEN CHIPPED HER with their information on it, We found my dog while the neighbor was walking her around the neighborhood. When we stopped them and told them that the dog looked a lot like ours, they ignored us and tried walking away. Finally we offered them money for everything they had bought my dog and they gave her back to us. Nena is home safe now and we changed the information on the chip to my info.
