About this Lost Cat
Merlin is missing since yesterday morning. He is a fluffy 15 pound neutered male who looks like a tabby colored Maine Coon. He gets along great with humans, tolerates dogs well, and cannot stand other cats. He is micro-chipped and about four years old. When he is being sociable, he may claw your shoes or flop over and show his plush tan belly. The shoe clawing is annoying, but that is him being friendly. The belly exposure is friendly, too, but if you touch his belly, he will grab you with all claws, his way of playing.
My first thought is that he may have gotten closed in a garage or shed that he may have hidden in. He has never been gone for more than 24 hours since I have had him. His home is on Sherman Allen Road near Laurel Oak Court.
He does not have a collar. I've never been able to keep a collar on him. I have always found them hung on a fence or something in the woods.
