About this Lost Cat
Tabby, shades of brown, dark on back/spine, fluffy, big toes - looks like he's mane coon. Tigger, my outside child is missing. He is fixed, shots current, microchipped and his chip is registered with the PetLink database. I have fed Tigger since he was month old even though his mother, Baby, brought him to my door at 2 weeks of age (he is now 8 years old). Tigger weighs about 13.6 pounds as of April 7, 2019 and his left ear is clipped to indicate he is "fixed". He always eats his meals at home and sleeps outside my front door, in his house, along with his sister/littermate, Bitsy. I have not seen Tigger since he had dinner on Monday, June 10. This is not normal and to say I'm worried, frantic and beside myself would be an understatement. I live at Durant and 7th; he loves to sleep in the yards along 7th and watch the world and hunt. I worry that he wandered into someone's garage, basement, craw space, etc., unnoticed and that is where he is. I have walked the streets, driven the streets, expanded the search, called, looked in bushes. I have posted here, NextDoor, FB and I have been to Animal Control. So he either is trapped, injured and can't get home, someone decided they wanted him, or someone decided they were tired of seeing him and did away with him. Those are the only options I'm aware of. Sadly, I have to go to my godson's wedding tomorrow. Yes, I'm happy for him, beyond happy but I'm so nauseated with grief, I don't want to go anywhere. I will be back on Sunday. IF, dear friends and neighbors, you come across Tigger and he needs medical attention, please take him to Ansley Animal Clinic; they are on alert to take him and treat. If it's after hours, please call or text me at 770-841-9524 and I will connect you to his godmother for after hours emergency care. I will reimburse for any gas expended. Thank you friends and neighbors in advance for helping Tigger, my Lion King, find his way back him to me and to his sister, Bitsy. - Laura
