About this Lost Cat
17-ish-year-old cat. Decently underweight at this point due to hyperthyroidism. Has pretty identifiable growths on both of his upper eyelids. Black collar. Very friendly with people. He's an outdoor-only cat for various reasons, so it unfortunately wasn't immediately apparent that he even was missing. Given his illness, we thought it was likely he finally passed away somewhere, but his body hasn't been found in *any* of his usual spots (our yard, our neighbors' yards), so it wasn't definite. Then we found some empty food containers in our yard and our neighbor mentioned that he apparently witnessed "a middle-aged Middle Eastern couple leading Rocco away with food", so he was potentially kidnapped! Kidnapped or not, given that this means he hasn't gotten his thyroid medication in nearly half a month, things aren't looking good. Regardless, once was made aware of the situation, thought it was worth posting here just in case. And yes, the police are being contacted for reference.
