Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are a 501c3 organization working to save dogs from kill shelters.
We strive to educate the public on proper care, the importance of training, and the long term commitment they are making to this animal.
Our small group of core volunteers works to pull dogs from county pounds all over the midwest. Many of these pounds do not receive adequate funding to care for the large number of dogs they receive.
Once we pull dogs from a shelter, we vet them, update all vaccines, do a heart-worm check, spay/neuter, and microchip. We also register the microchip. We treat monthly for fleas, and other parasites.
We employ trainers, both on and off site to work both with our dogs, and our adopters. Our goal is to insure that every pet is placed properly and permanently.
We also maintain an OUTREACH program through food donations. This program provides food for dogs of homeless individuals in the Greater Cincinnati area, as well as food to several of the needy county pounds in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area.
