Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in North Carolina
(report broken link)
After many years of fostering and volunteering for local the animal shelters and rescues we had finally decided to open our an all volunteer dog rescue here in Caswell County, North Carolina. We are a non-profit organization dedicated saving dogs of all sizes and breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes. We provide shelter to dogs who would have otherwise been euthanized as a result of overcrowding and/or the lack of resources to find them a forever home. We work together with the other non-profit rescues and shelters to raise funds for by organizing and participating in fundraisers. We also provide transportation of animals, donated food and pet supplies to facilities who are in need of such a service. We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering.
