Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in Missouri
(report broken link)
Wonder Weims Rescue is a non-profit 501C, non-kill animal rescue group dedicated to rescuing Weimaraners in Missouri, Nebraska and surrounding areas. We help to heal their emotional and physical wounds, educate the public on the breed, temperament, training, exercise and leadership.
We advise the public on spaying and neutering, (a Wonder Weim requirement) the horrors of puppy mill’s and encourage adoption from rescues and responsible, reputable breeders. We work with other humane organizations to locate lost pets and rescue abandoned and abused animals.
The ultimate goal of our organization is to give animals the respect, care and proper medical attention they deserve and give them an opportunity to be loved and be a part of a forever home.
