Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Needy Paws Rescue is located in St. Louis, MO and exists through donations from the community.
Mission Statement : We are a 501(c)3 non-profit ,volunteer, 100% foster-based organization saving dogs from high kill shelters, strays, abandoned and surrendered, in St. Louis and surrounding rural Missouri areas, regardless of breed or size.
Our organization structure includes an Executive Director, with volunteers that is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.
We are foster-based and all pets live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best furever homes for all of the dogs in our care.
