Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

Adoptable Pets in Maryland
(report broken link)
So Many Whiskers, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization devoted to the well-being and rescuing of cats and kittens throughout Central Maryland area.
We are a 100% foster home based organization providing medical, and enrichment care to our cats and kittens. We have many adoptable animals with varied medical or behavioral needs. No animal is euthanized due to medical expense or the inconvenience of care.
We actively work with boots-on-the-ground TNR volunteers to help spay, neuter, and provide medical treatment to feral cats in the community through generous donations and grants.
We hope our cats will find a loving home with a loving family; but if they never find that home, they are welcomed into the SMW family.
We are always looking for compassionate people to donate their time and help us in our mission to care for these homeless companion pets who are looking for that second chance.
