Woof! Meow! One thing before you go…
Do you need to find a loving home for your pet?
Shelters are often inundated with pet surrenders, and do not want to provide a simple outlet that takes away the obligation of responsible pet ownership. Therefore, they would prefer that people try hard to find a solution before resorting to surrendering their pet to a shelter. If you must find a new home for a pet, please try posting to our adoption portal before placing the burden on the shelter. Direct adoptions work well and allow everyone to share in the accountability of their community!

We are concerned citizens who have joined together to help control the free roaming cat population in our communities. We all started doing TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) on our own or reached out for help and information. Our organization was started August, 2008 by Carla D Jewell. Carla has been utilizing TNR since 2001, realizing that this was the ONLY solution to address the issue of free roaming cats. She knew there were others out there doing the same thing and had a vision to bring them together in order to support one another and come together to ensure the public is educated on TNR and current laws protecting free roaming cats. Our group has grown to over 400 members with the same goals. You may join our free online community at
