About this Dog
Animal Profile: Daisy is an estimated 6.5-year-old, 18 lb spayed female Papillon Rat mixed breed who was originally a stray intake to the Caddo Parish shelter in October and adopted, but then confiscated in April 2024 for neglect. She's doing much better now and has been assessed to be friendly with dogs and people. She joined Dog Gone Seattle foster care on 6/3 and we will share more about her as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: Daisy is a treat to have as a house guest! She is well-mannered, rarely barks, definitely wants to be with her people and sleeps and eats quietly in her crate. Our resident dog is a golden retriever and they are co-existing peacefully … unless a ball is involved. They are both very ball excitable and complete relentlessly for a thrown ball. Daisy is house trained and doing well on leash. She loves to go for walks but needs to work on control a bit (birds, squirrels, rabbits and other dogs are very exciting!). Consistency and repetition will go a long way in helping Daisy become the perfect walking companion. This little pup has been a delight to have as a foster. She interacts appropriately with my 5 year old grandson so homes with children will be considered. Daisy should do well with or without a dog companion. She's so ready to find a permanent, loving home where she can thrive. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue. Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport Louisiana via Tail Lights Rescue Project along arriving to foster care 6/3/24. She will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.

Adopt Daisy and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Daisy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Daisy's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Daisy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Daisy's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Daisy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Daisy’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Daisy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Daisy’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
