About this Dog
Animal Profile: Banks was born in the rescue 11/05/22. He was adopted as a puppy, but started showing resource guarding behavior in the home; it was mainly directed at the senior male dog but he was also vocal about being bothered when he was asleep on the couch. Banks was very loved, but his family realized they could not provide the structure he needs to thrive. Banks regularly attended doggy daycare, and does well in a stable pack. True to the Doberman breed, Banks is family oriented, incredibly smart, affectionate and athletic. Adopter Profile: Large breed dog experience required Doberman experience a plus No first time dog owners Securely fenced yard preferred Single family residence required (no apartments) Foster Update: Banks was fostered here as a puppy, and seemed to fall right back in line with our current pack (chihuahua mix, another male Doberman and a 50lb cattle dog mix). When he returned, we implemented good structure and routine, and focused efforts on his obedience. With a focus on a strong foundational relationship, Banks has shown zero resource guarding with food, chews or toys with his foster family. He will curl his lip in a dog approaches his bowl when eating, so he is only given his food and chews in his crate. Banks now heels well on leash, has good recall, knows basic obedience commands sit, down, crate and place command. Banks has also started e collar introduction for off leash freedom and recall. He is loyal, affectionate, loving, and incredibly intelligent. Banks will need an owner with large/working breed experience that could set healthy boundaries in the home otherwise he will test boundaries. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter required within 90 days, age appropriate vaccinations, deworming and microchip. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue. Adopt Banks and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Banks's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Banks's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Banks, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Banks's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Banks was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Banks’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Banks’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Banks’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
