About this Cat
Little big dude, Shuksan is a stunning grey tabby kitten with greenish grey eyes, born on May 1. Gentle and curious, and the biggest boy in his litter, Shuksan *really* cares about food (not in a picky way, but meal time is his favorite time!) He believes it’s important to fuel up and be ready to climb every meown-tain!Shuksan may be the first to the dinner table, but when it comes to exploring new things, he lets his siblings test out the waters first while he watches. Once he’s confident, he jumps right in and loves to tumble and zoom. He’s good with both dogs and kids. With dogs, he’s savvy, and keeps space, always careful not to annoy his canine foster sister. Shuksan isn’t particularly bonded with any of his littermates, though is good buddies with his sister Neah (grey). He would love to go to a home with her, one of his other siblings, or to join a family with a young cat who can keep him entertained and out of mischief! All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.

Adopt Shuksan and Receive Shuksan's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Shuksan's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Shuksan's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Shuksan, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Shuksan's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shuksan was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shuksan’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Shuksan’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shuksan’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
