Introducing 4 month old cutie Shoestring! Shoestring is the "baby" of the group and loves to get all the lovin's. He is a kitten you can flop around and he's super happy. When he purrs he PURRS. He purrs when he is held and loves getting face kisses. If you make eye contact with him, watch out, you're going to get love bombed!Once Shoestring is comfortable he is a lot like a dog, if you give him pets he won't leave your face. He does not know what personal boundaries are and wants your love and attention now! Any sudden movements and he's activated. He also likes to play fetch with pom balls. When he kneads he likes to hold a pom ball in his mouth, it is adorable!Shoestring does great with other cats but is scared of young children. He would love to go to a home with one of his brothers (Crinkle or Sweet Potat). He would most likely do well with a cat-friendly dog but might be scared at first. Whoever gets this cutie patootie is very lucky!All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Shoestring was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Shoestring’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Shoestring’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Shoestring’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
