Meet Teddy! This cutie terrier mix boy is so sweet! He came to us with his two siblings who had all been kept in a backyard from the time they were little. He is now in a foster home in our care and doing great. Teddy is about 1-2 years old and around 18 lbs. He is great with other dogs and non-reactive to cats. He is friendly with people too but he needs a moment to warm up. It seems he likes to attach himself to one person and will then focus mostly on them. Meeting strangers is a bit worrying for him and he will bark at them. He needs a little more confidence. He will do best in a home as opposed to an apartment, because he can alert bark at times. Due to his timid nature around new people, we do not think he will enjoy living with younger children. Teddy does well on the leash and in his crate. He loves his toys and enjoys carrying around his favorite hedgehog. He will probably love to have a dog friend in the home. Teddy is vaccinated, micrcochipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
