About this Dog
GUS - 1-5 years old, 55 pounds, nervous at first but warms up quickly. Gus arrived as a stray and although nervous at first, he is warming up to everyone quickly. Gus was the scared boy, pancaking in his kennel as caretakers walked by tossing treats to try and let him it’s ok to trust. As the days have gone by, so has that scared persona we saw. He is now all about running, playing and getting treats from us. His energy is abundant and his jumping up on me was not far behind! Gus is determined, eager and enthusiastic esp where toys are involved. He’s not picky but seemed to have a favorite when he found the pool noodle in the yard. So funny! Gus is young, very puppy like and prob could use some daily training to help curb some of those puppy-like behaviors. (Jumping up on people, mouthiness) We’re not sure how he feels about other dogs, but we will update this bio as we learn more. Until then bring in any resident dog for a meet and greet and let’s see if we have a match. Gus is currently hanging in a back kennel so if you come in and don’t see him, please just ask.
