About this Cat
It didn’t take long for this beautiful senior to become my favorite! I know we shouldn’t have favorites, but all of us do at some point or another and when you fall in love with one you don’t ever want to see it go somewhere else. But in this case, we would love for Cora to go into a home, with someone else who will love her as much as we do. Cora was brought to us as a stray, so we named her, and she has been wonderful about being handled and worked on! We did an in-house snap test for her, which was negative, and now we are ready to find her a home. If you love seniors, like lap cats, and ones that will be next to you and give you love, please consider Cora. PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA. For questions about the pet, please email us at [email protected]. All adoptions begin with an application, found under the "Animals" tab on our website, friendsofcampbellcounty.org. *Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County. *Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell. *We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice. *We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption.

Adopt Cora: At shelter and Receive Cora: At shelter's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Cora: At shelter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Cora: At shelter's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Cora: At shelter, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Cora: At shelter's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Cora: At shelter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Cora: At shelter’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Cora: At shelter’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Cora: At shelter’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
