About this Dog
Hi there, I’m Twixie! I’m a 3-month-old mixed breed pup with a gentle soul and a heart full of curiosity. I currently weigh about 12 pounds, and my foster mom thinks I’ll grow to be around 20–30 pounds—perfect for couch snuggles and outdoor adventures. I can be a little shy at first, especially in new situations, but give me a little time (and a treat or two), and you’ll start to see my sweet personality shine. I’m very treat motivated—just saying! I absolutely love being outside—sunshine, grass, and dirt are my happy place. I’ve already mastered the doggy door like a pro, and walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. There’s just so much to see and sniff! I get along really well with other dogs and feel extra confident with a canine buddy by my side. I haven’t officially met a cat yet, but I’ve come close—and I didn’t seem to care much either way, so I’d likely do just fine with feline friends. I’m still warming up to kids—they make me a little nervous—but with patience and kindness, I’m learning they’re not so scary after all. If you’re looking for a gentle, curious pup who’s still finding her confidence but already has so much love to give, I just might be your girl. Adopt Twixie and Receive Twixie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Twixie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Twixie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Twixie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Twixie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Twixie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Twixie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Twixie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Twixie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
