About this Dog
Meet Tresa! This special girl did not get a good start to life, and I think it's important we talk about it! Tresa came from a hoarding situation where she did not receive a lot of human interaction. She was left to fend for herself, bred too many times, and somewhere along the way... she lost her back foot. Thankfully, she was saved and found her way to Rescue Rovers where she is learning to be a dog and how to be loved! Tresa loves to lay on the soft grass, soaking up the sun. You will often see her out back, with her face up and eyes closed, just taking it all in! She is so happy when she gets to do her own thing, without pressure from humans - though she's learning that hanging out with people isn't all bad! Her heart is definitely attached to her stomach, and she is quickly won over with some yummy snacks... which makes gaining her trust a little bit easier! She gets along great with small dogs, cats, chickens and weirdly goats! But maybe that's because they like to bask in the sun with her! However, because of her past, Tresa is a little uneasy about children and big dogs. She tries to avoid them at all costs, but will bark in fear if they get too close or she feels cornered. So we are hoping to find a home where she won't have to worry about that! Tresa's ideal home would be somewhere with grass and a fenced yard, so she will feel safe. Someone will give her the love and patience she needs to warm up to you, but also someone who will push her to be her best self. She 1000% wants to be loved... she just doesn't quite trust it yet and needs someone to show her that she can do amazing things!! She is doing great on leash, potty training, in the car, and does great in or out of her crate! She is a calm girl who likes to play in the morning and nap away the rest of the day! Adopt Tresa and Receive Tresa's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Tresa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Tresa's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Tresa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Tresa's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Tresa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Tresa’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Tresa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Tresa’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
