Hi! I’m Mighty Mike, but my humans call me Mikey! I’m a very sweet and affectionate almost 5-year-old shepherd mix. Here are some of the best things about me: - I’m the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. If there’s a lap to be sat on I want to sit in it! I just love snuggling up to my humans. - I love going on walks and going for drives (I’m great in the car!). I also love pup cups, treats, taking naps, and chewing on bones! - I’m fully crate and potty trained, plus I know basic commands, but I would love to work on some training to learn even more. I’m a bit of a jumping jelly bean but we’re working on that! - I’m eager to please and pick up on training really quickly - I do great with other dogs as long as they’re not too rambunctious. I like to play some, but mostly just want to do my own thing. I'd love to go to a loving family who will include me in their activities. I love all humans that I meet and do really well around kids, but sometimes I can get overly excited, so a home with kids over 8 years old would be best for me. And no kitties for me, please! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mighty Mike was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mighty Mike’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mighty Mike’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mighty Mike’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
