Chance is a sweet chubby boy who loves to show his belly. He's shy with other animals, but would prefer his own human. His human got very sick and could not keep him, so he was surrendered by no fault of his own. Chance loves sitting on the patio, lounging in the sun, or lounging pretty much anywhere. Chance would very much like a home of his own, as he has been waiting a while in a home with dogs and one particular cat who he really doesn't like (but he gets along fine with the other kitties).Note: When Chance was a baby, he was one of the Kitten Cam stars. Videos and pictures of him as a baby are available to the adopter.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chance the cat's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chance the cat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chance the cat’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chance the cat’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
