About this Cat
*This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* What can I say? I'm searching for someone truly special. Are you a caretaker at heart? Do you have a soft spot for the underdog, or in this case, under-kitty? Well, please read on. My name is Grizzly. I was adopted as a tiny kitten and lived happily with my family until that unfortunate divorce. Since then, I've been bounced around from place to place, which has been hard and stressful for me. At some point, I put on some extra pounds, but now I'm on a weight loss plan and have already shed some weight. Yay! I'll need someone who can support me on my weight loss journey. Being overweight, I have some mobility limitations—I struggle with jumping onto furniture and prefer a lower-sided litterbox. Another issue is that I'm incontinent with my bowel movements. It's not behavioral; rather, I sometimes can't make it in time or am unaware it's happening, or perhaps a combination of both. If you can see past my challenges, you'll find I have the best personality. I'm shy at first, but then I blossom into a sweet, tubby gentleman. I adore tummy rubs, chin scratches, and being brushed. I'm also quite tolerant of having all my many nails trimmed. Do you have room in your heart for a calm, couch-napping, sweet chubby kitty? Grizzly is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.

Adopt Grizzly and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Grizzly's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Grizzly's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Grizzly, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Grizzly's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Grizzly was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Grizzly’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Grizzly’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Grizzly’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
