About this Dog
Bernadette (A135845) 2-year-old Chinese Shar-pei mix that weighed 56lbs on intake!09/18/24 This beautiful girl is Bernadette! Bernadette came to the shelter as a stray where she waited out her stray hold but was not claimed by an owner. Bernadette is now searching for her forever home! During her short stay at the shelter, Bernadette has been incredibly affectionate and loving towards the care staff. She can be selective with other female dogs and appears to do best around other mature, easy going male dogs. We have no history of how she does with children or other pets, so please perform those introductions in a slow, safe and controlled manner. Bernadette will have minor surgery on her eyelids to help her be more comfortable. She suffers from a condition called Entropion of the eyes, where the eyelids turn inwards and continuously rub against her eye. Left untreated, this can cause permanent damage to the eyes over time. Surgery should correct this condition, but she may need continued care to help her recover in her new home. We would also like to encourage potential adopters to research the shar-pei breed. Shar-peis are very intelligent, extremely protective and bond closely with their family. If you are interested in meeting with Mrs. Bernadette, please let us know!

Adopt *BERNADETTE and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, *BERNADETTE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is *BERNADETTE's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the *BERNADETTE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming *BERNADETTE's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *BERNADETTE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *BERNADETTE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the *BERNADETTE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *BERNADETTE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
