About this Rat
CURRENTLY IN FOSTERA note from Eeyore and Pooh Bear's foster:Eeyore (hairless) & Poo Bear (black & white fur) are bonded sweet boys looking for their forever home. Both were found in a dirty cage with foods not nutritional for pet rats which resulted in both being overweight. I have been experimenting with rat safe foods vs junk foods with hopes of reducing their weight. It has been somewhat difficult to get them to eat nutritious food but slowly finding foods they will eat.I give them two different types of dry rat food and place in separate bowls. Poo Bear prefers the larger chunk rat food by Mazuri and Eeyore prefers Oxbow adult rat food.So far, after trying many types of fresh rat safe foods they usually enjoy boiled chicken, tri-color cooked pasta, dry/cooked oatmeal, cooked sweet potato, plain shredded wheat lightly moistened with soy milk, scrambled egg, Gerber baby food turkey/chicken dogs, blueberries, peas & apple. Sometimes they will or will not eat the above or other healthy foods which I continue try with mixed results.I have been hand feeding their most favorite foods as another way to interact with the sweet boys. I keep trying some other veggies or fruit without consistent success but at least healthier than their previous experience. Poo Bear has a habit of wanting several pieces of food at one time vs one piece when being hand fed or taking food from the plateâ¦little rascal.Eeyore has a skin condition called porphyrin which has no effect on his day to day life. The condition causes redness around the eyes and some bruising and redness along the nasal passage with various intensities on a daily basis. Since Eeyore has pink eyes his body sways a bit as he adjusts his eyesight to focus. If interested in meeting Eeyore and Pooh Bear, please email with your contact information to be forwarded to the foster at [email protected].

Adopt EEYORE and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, EEYORE's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is EEYORE's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the EEYORE, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming EEYORE's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and EEYORE was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, EEYORE’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the EEYORE’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, EEYORE’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
