About this Cat
Hi! I'm Pumpkin! I was rescued in Lodi, CA. I’m a friendly, affectionate, and playful kitty. I’m initially shy in new environments but even cool cats like me are often nervous when we’re in an unfamiliar place. Although I wasn’t interested in food when I arrived in my foster home, I was interested in pets. My foster human knew I was nervous so he offered me a safe and somewhat hidden place with a bed where he could give me lots of pets to help me feel more at ease. The following day my curiosity started to kick in and I began to explore the room. Then my appetite kicked in when my foster human offered me some food while he sat with me so I felt safe. I’ve become so much more comfortable and as a result my affectionate side is thriving. I love receiving lots of pets and scritches while I purr for you. I’ll lie on the couch by your feet or by your side and will happily make biscuits for you. I might even allow you to rub my soft belly! I love being near my humans and can be a bit of a Velcro kitty at times. Sometimes I’ll follow you around into other rooms, including the bathroom. My foster human does video calls during the day and when I want to join I’ll jump up onto the desk to say hi to his colleagues. At night I’ll sometimes sleep on the bed but usually I find another spot to catch some Z’s. I didn’t reveal my confident and playful sides at first but this changed with time. When the wand toy first came out I was cautious and instead of jumping for it, I chose to avoid it… hehe. But then I began moving around a little more quickly and showing a slight interest in playing. Now I zoom around, up and down the stairs, and I’m really getting into the noodle toy and some of the other toys. I’m feeling like my confident self now and I even greet house guests when they arrive! If you're looking for a sweet and handsome ginger kitty, you should apply to meet me! Adopt Pumpkin and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Pumpkin's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Pumpkin's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Pumpkin, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Pumpkin's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Pumpkin was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Pumpkin’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Pumpkin’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Pumpkin’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
