About this Cat
BANANA hails from Wunninum Lake in Northern Ontario and came south along with his 2 brothers, Plum and Mango to find his forever home. He’s had his first set of vaccines, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. This boy is as adventurous as they come and full of beans. Super friendly and just a purring machine who loves to be petted. BANANA has used the litter box since day one in foster care as he’s a very smart boy. He loves to eat and drink his nice cold water. Chasing crinkly toys around is one of his favourite pass times and he’s just discovered a little green mouse toy that he’ll carry around with him. He was the first one to discover the blinds and what fun they are. He’s definitely one of the most charismatic cats around too as he loves attention and knows just how to get it from you. He’s in a foster home with dogs and puppies so would suit a home with a dog as long as the dog is cat savvy and a slow, monitored introduction is made. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. BANANA’s neuter will be performed at 4 months of age and will be booked at the time of his adoption. We do need his adopter to be committed to his neuter being at that age as part of his adoption agreement. It can be done at his adopters own vet clinic and the rescue will reimburse what we would’ve paid for it at the Barrie SPCA. However, it would still have to performed in the same timeframe to receive the reimbursement. If you would like to meet BANANA then please put in an adoption application.

Adopt BANANA and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BANANA's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is BANANA's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the BANANA, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BANANA's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BANANA was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BANANA’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the BANANA’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BANANA’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
