About this Dog
Meet McCormick! Often called “Mickey Mouse” at his foster home, this adorable, joyful pup was born around June 1, 2024. He is on track to be a full-sized boy when he grows up and will likely weigh 90-100 pounds. Mickey is a wonderful puppy, full of inquisitive energy. He is funny, because he wants to explore and do everything! He is constant action. He drags his toy box everywhere and chews on it. You can't take your shoes off or he steals them. Little Mouse loves playing with the large adult dogs in his foster home and they all get along well. He loves doing zoomies with them outside and playing king of the mountain on the couch inside. He quickly learned the pecking order and is good at learning lessons the experienced dogs are teaching him. He is smart and learns fast. He is potty trained and crate trained. He mostly sleeps through the night. He knows “sit.” He quickly conquered his puzzle box. He knows how to use the doggy stairs to get on the people bed. He loves “real” food such as blueberries, apples, bananas, chicken, steak, and boiled eggs! He barks when he loses his toy under the table and he wants you to get it. He barks at Mr. Squirrel, the Amazon driver, FedEx, UPS. He might not do well with cats or small pets in the home because he has displayed a high prey drive. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!

Adopt McCormick and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, McCormick's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is McCormick's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the McCormick, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming McCormick's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and McCormick was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, McCormick’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the McCormick’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, McCormick’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
