About this Dog
Meet Oreo, a vibrant 2 years old beauty that we think is a mixture of Border Collie and Australian Shepherd. This pretty girl is the perfect 50 pounds in size and weight and she and her 4 puppies were rescued from a horrible backyard situation where multiple dogs and puppies were existing (can't really call it living) without much human interaction or care. She came to us with a very distrusting heart. Her foster mom set out to change all of that and daily is teaching her that people can be fun and life can be good. She has a large outdoor play area but really enjoys spending time in the house with her foster human mom. When she wants to go out, she paces in front of the door and signals to go outside. She has never had an accident in the house. She very quickly learned the command "sit" and is now working on "down" and other commands. It is obvious she has the intelligence of both the herding breeds and is showing how very smart she is daily. Oreo loves to be brushed and it is the quickest way to her heart. Get out a brush and groom her and you are ALL IN! She is getting used to her harness and is now able to go for a leash walk several times a day. She has a way to go with the leash skills but is getting better every day. She has become very loyal and affectionate with her foster mom, but is still wary of new strangers. She is absolutely fine with the other dogs in her foster home. Oreo's hurdle is learning that men are OK and she will get there with patience from her people. Apparently something in her past has made her very wary of men and she does not warm up easily just yet. We have only had her in our care for 2 weeks and so time is not on our side just yet. Her foster dad is determined to change that and is very kindly working with her and progress is happening. - Oreo is really a fabulous girl who truly wants to love and be loved, she just needs the right person who is willing to work to bring out the best in her and to trust. Once she loves you, she loves you 1000%. If you are interested in helping Oreo WIN AT LIFE, then please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at [email protected] and ask for an adoption form. Adopt OREO and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, OREO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is OREO's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the OREO, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming OREO's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and OREO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, OREO’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the OREO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, OREO’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
