About this Rat
Irina and Esme are lovely female rats. Irina is quite bold and will make friends with people quickly, often climbing right up onto human friends. Esme is a bit more reserved but is curious and accepting of treats. Irina is believed to be about a year and a half old, and Esme about one year. they came into the rescue in a larger group and would likely easily integrate with another mischief. Proof of a proper enclosure is required. A proper enclosure is secure, with solid floors and shelves, good ventilation (no glass aquariums), bar spacing small enough to prevent escapes or heads getting caught, enough room to provide space for enrichment like playing, climbing, digging and balancing. Four cubic feet of space per rat is preferred. Their adoption fee is $40.
