About this Cat
Juniper (A135159) is a 3-year-old Persian who weigh over 12lbs at intake!Update from Foster 09/14/24: Juniper is very timid, however he has a lot of character and room for growth. His foster was able to pet him after about 10 days and pet his underside after 30 days. When he lays on his back for pets, he raises his humongous paws in the air for aerial kneading. When his back, head or neck are being pet, he sticks his curled tongue in and out. He makes the cutest little meow for wet food and treats, but always allows Periwinkle to eat right beside him. He's extremely playful and loves toys of all kinds. He has a gorgeous coat but is currently shaved to give his new owner a clean slate to start from while building trust. Like Periwinkle, he does not rush to sneak outside and is adjusting to indoor life very well. He came and will preferably remain with his adoptive brother Periwinkle. They love to play together and never fight. They will both use their litterbox if it is clean. It is recommended that for both boys, they get two large, open litterboxes for successful indoor litterbox use if their human is gone for a long day. If someone is home to scoop a couple of times a day, they will utilize one large box successfully.07/06/24 This handsome duo is Juniper and Periwinkle! These two boys are not brothers, but they have become quite bonded with each other in their most recent home, so we are keeping them bonded together. Juniper is quite shy, and he needs Periwinkle as his security blanket! While Juniper is very fearful of dogs, Periwinkle likes to stand up to them. For both of these reasons, their next home should not have any canines. These boys might also prefer to be the only cats in their new home as well. Juniper often hides, while Periwinkle likes to spend his time watching out the window. Both boys were said to be litter box trained, and Periwinkle was said to LOVE being brushed (which is good because of his long lovely coat)! These boys are looking for a quieter home without dogs, cats or kids, where they can rule the roost together. If you are itnerested in meeting this dashing pair of bachelors, please give the shelter a call!

Adopt JUNIPER and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JUNIPER's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is JUNIPER's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the JUNIPER, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JUNIPER's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JUNIPER was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JUNIPER’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the JUNIPER’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JUNIPER’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
