About this Dog
Adoption Fee: $700 Bones is a 4 month old Dachshund mix who can’t wait to shake and rattle life away with his forever family! Bones and his sister, Boo, were surrendered to our rescue after an accidental litter led to Mom saying “no more dogs in the house”. We agreed to take in this sibling duo and scooped them up, promising that they’d be dressing up for Halloween with their forever homes in no time. We suspect there may be two dads for this duo as they both have a unique look. Bones weighs 15 pounds as of Sep 17 and we expect him to be in the 22-25 lb range as an adult. No Bones about it, this boy is ready to meet you! Bones (M): Bones is a sweet and sensitive little guy who can’t wait to take on the world with his forever home! He loves his toys and adores being near his people. Bones adores his foster siblings and gains confidence watching them zoom around until he jumps in on the action. Bones is also starting to figure out how amazing a long belly rub session is, and would be a fabulous companion for someone looking for a loving and sweet puppy. Bones has very expressive eyebrows and soulful puppy dog eyes that make him impossible to resist. Whether it’s more cuddles or another treat, you can’t say no to Bones! Bones will be the perfect size for any adventure you have planned this fall, from apple picking to a hay ride. He promises to be up for it all! Boo (F): Boo is an outgoing and silly girl who is ready to be the belle of the Monster Mash Ball! She is super smart and amazes her foster people every day with her charm and wit. Boo is the leader of the daily agenda and happily zooms around as she plays with her toys and her brother. Boo loves her cuddles and will roll right over when you scratch behind her ears or rub her belly. Boo is the perfect size for whatever adventures you have planned. Trips to the cafe? She says ok! Boo loves her people and can’t wait to show you how smart and awesome she is. With Boo in your life, you’ll always look on the bright side! Boo and Bones wake up at 7 AM and show off their morning zoomies. They eat three times a day: 8 AM, 2 PM, and 8 PM. During the day, the puppies spend a lot of time romping around in the grass as they love being outside. They love their toys as well and show off their zoomies as often as they can, until they crash into a puppy pile and snooze the afternoon away. They each get some individual cuddle and socialization time once their people finish their workdays before they have their dinner. In the evening, the puppies curl up on the couch and get all the cuddles and kisses available. Around 9 PM, they head to their pen for the night and drift off to sleep curled together. Boo and Bones have lived with other dogs and are respectful to their older canine foster siblings. They have been introduced to cats and were polite. The puppies will both require additional training and socialization to ensure they are well-rounded adults with their forever people. We are looking for individual homes for each puppy as we don’t place siblings together. Don’t let this spooky season pass you by without bringing home a spooky sibling today! Bones is only an option for homes who have owned a dog in the last 5 years. Kids in the home should be over the age of 9.

Adopt Bones and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bones's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bones's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bones, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bones's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bones was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bones’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bones’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bones’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
