About this Dog
Roger - Black Male, 1 year old, 51 lbs. Are you looking for some puppy love in your life? Well, look no further! My name is Roger – I am a puppy and I would love to love you forever!!! I am a fun-loving, playful, silly, lovable Labbie pup and I am looking for my forever home! Life was not always so happy for me. I was found as a stray near death, literally being eaten alive by ticks and fleas, my gums white from the extensive blood loss. Luckily for me a very nice person found me just in time and got me to those Defenders of Dogs at the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno asap – phew! My foster mom takes such good care of me – she plays with me, teaches me new skills, feeds me, and most of all she loves me! She says now I am ready to join my forever family so she can help another pup in need. Could you be my forever family? Keep reading to find out! I am a smaller boy and will likely always be on the smaller side for a Labbie. But that’s ok, just means I fit on your lap better! I don’t mean to brag, but I am very smart. Since I was rescued, I have learned housetraining, crate training, and most importantly, I have learned how to relax and just be a dog! I am a tender guy, and while I do love to wrestle and play with doggie pals, my most favorite thing is to snuggle up to my people. I have lots of snuggle time to make up for after all! My foster mom describes me as “delightful”, and I gotta agree with her! I am an all-around classic good boy, kind-hearted, loving, and playful. I would love to find a family where someone is home often, as my people are my focus. I am a young guy and I would really love to go to this place called doggie school – I hear you learn how to do all these fun tricks and commands that make your people smile and then they give you lots of treats and snuggles! It sounds ammmmazing! Roger is an adorable pup with a wonderful personality. He is a petite fella who was quite underweight when he came into rescue. He has since gained 10lbs and is healthy and thriving! Despite what he has gone through, he never lost his gentle graceful personality. He loves dogs of all sizes and adores his people. He has not been exposed to a cat in his foster home, so his feline-friendliness is unknown. Roger is a happy-go-lucky little guy who just wants a family to love and cherish. Like all young Labradors, Roger is an energetic boy and would benefit from attending training classes with his family to learn his commands and polish up his leash skills, ensuring a lifetime of good behavior. Roger really is a gem, when you look into his eye, his sweet and tender spirit just shines. Adopt Roger and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roger's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Roger's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Roger, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roger's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roger was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roger’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Roger’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roger’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
