Potter was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 9/15/24 when his time was up and he was going to be euthanized because no one came to claim him. Potter is about 1 to 2 years of age and he is a very friendly guy. He was neutered when we rescued him. He is now current on shots/dewormings. He has tested neg for feline leukemia/FIV. Potter will be adopted as an indoor only cat. The adoption fee is $80. A pet carrier is required at the time of adoption and you must be 21 to adopt from MCHS. To meet Potter or any of our cats, go to mchs.rescuegroups.org and complete and submit our online application. We will review and get in touch with you. Our address is 101 22 ST SE, Austin, MN. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Potter's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Potter was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Potter’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
