About this Dog
Available for adoption! This girl is a true Diamond in the rough! She is sooo sweet and loves people even though she has had a bit of a rough past. If you are looking for an affectionate girl with a love for cuddling on the couch with her person, look no further than Diamond. Diamond is a very petite pittie mix. She is around 2 years old and 35lbs. Sadly she sports the scars of her past but those don’t define her. She has a long burn scar down her back that she had before arriving at the shelter. She also has some scabs and hairless elbows likely from living in a concrete kennel for many months. Diamond arrived at the shelter as a stray very pregnant. She quickly gave birth to 9 beautiful and wonderful puppies, whom she was a wonderful mom to. Her puppies were weaned and adopted or taken in by rescues but Diamond was left behind. She was on the euthanasia list due to time at the shelter and the continued lack of space they face. We were able to save this girl just in the nick of time and now she is looking for the forever family she is so overdue to find. Diamond has been around a number of other dogs and does fine with them a majority of the time. After spending months alone in the shelter it is understandable that sometimes she forgets how to always share nicely. She also has a bit of a rough play style that may not be every dog’s cup of tea. We think she would love to be an only dog and get the love and attention that she hasn’t had for so long. Diamond rides nicely in the car, is crate trained and potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She meets people on walks with a smile and a wagging tail. She will pull and get excited at the sight of small critters. Diamond should not be in a home with cats. A fenced yard is not required for Diamond but of course we are sure she wouldn’t mind one. Diamond’s favorite activity seems to be getting on the couch with her human for pets and cuddles. We hope that people see Diamond’s friendliness and affection shine through her rough exterior like we do. If you are interested in this Diamond, email us at [email protected]. (Local adoptions preferred — Philadelphia and tri-state area [South Jersey and northern Delaware] only.) PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING US! Adopt Diamond and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Diamond's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Diamond's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Diamond, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Diamond's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Diamond was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Diamond’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Diamond’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Diamond’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
