About this Dog
Sandra Dee is a very sweet and cuddly dog. It takes some time for her to warm up to humans, but once she does, she is such a delight! She is surprisingly very social and lights up when friends visit with their dogs as well. She is happy to share her food and toy with the other dogs. She gets a bit fearful when she comes across a dog who is a bit too much for her. For instance, if they won't stop sniffing her, or they try to play too rough, she will yelp and run to you for protection. Energy Level? Medium House trained? Yes Describe how they are on leash? She freezes as soon as the leash goes on. She will need someone to help leash train her. Describe how they are with other dogs? She is lovely with other dogs. At first, she is timid, but once she gets to know them, she will play with them as long as they do not play too rough or sniff her too long.. Have they been around cats or other animals? How were they? He did fine meeting a cat, but of course, slow safe introductions are always recommended Commands they know? Trying to teach her to sit and come. She still needs more work, but she is smart! What are their favorite things? She loves everyone and treats (she is picky with the treats though). She loves to just hang out, cuddle, and play with their humans. What do they need to work on? Confidence. She needs to be with someone who has patience until she builds that confidence with you. Also needs to work on basic commands and walking on leash. How are they when left alone? How long have they been left alone? She has been left home alone (with my dog) 2 days a week while I am at work (8hrs). At first she was confined to an Xpen, but now she has free roam the house. She whines and howls at first, then settles down. I leave a pee pad and she has only used it once, otherwise she can hold it. Where do they sleep? At first she slept in her Xpen. She whined but after some reassurance, she quieted down and slept the entire night. Now I let her free roam the house at night and she sleeps on her bed or in her open crate by herself and she is totally fine. What is their ideal home? She will do well in a home with children (preferably older), single person who works from home or works partly from home, or in a home where adopters are retired. She'd do great with other dogs as long as they do not play too rough, but also can be the only dog in the household. Our Adoption fee is $325. Please begin the process of claiming Sandra Dee's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sandra Dee was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sandra Dee’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
