About this Cat
Meet Lola! Lola's story began in a heartbreaking situation when she and her two siblings were abandoned at a barn in the country on an elderly couple's property. Thankfully, their caretakers managed to rescue Lola. Sadly, her two littermates didn't survive. At just 7 weeks old, Lola was found severely underweight at only 1lb, suffering from dehydration, an upper respiratory infection, and ear mites. Despite her rough start, this little survivor has made an incredible transformation. Now, about a month later, Lola is thriving! She's growing into a long, sleek kitten and is on her way to becoming a good-sized adult cat. Her mischievous, playful personality has blossomed, and she’s full of energy and spunk. Lola considers herself a member of the dog pack at her foster home, often seen wrestling around with the dogs or snuggled up with them for a nap. Though Lola isn’t a fan of being held and will wiggle away to find her next adventure, she does love to curl up on your lap once she’s tuckered out, especially for evening TV time. She also adores sleeping in bed with her humans. Lola has a fun-loving, curious nature and can turn almost anything into a toy—her latest obsession is a floating balloon that she proudly carries around by the string! Lola is litter box trained, loves using her scratching post, and will be spayed and microchipped before adoption on September 20th. Lola’s Ideal Forever Home: Lola would thrive in a home that embraces her playful, social personality. While she’s currently an indoor cat, she enjoys sneaking out into the yard to hang out with her canine friends and explore (though she doesn't go far). A home where she can safely experience both indoor and outdoor environments, or at least escape-proof outdoor time, would be ideal. Lola currently lives with two toddlers, four dogs, and another cat (who she’s still trying to win over). Her new family should expect a curious, fun-loving kitten who is always up for an adventure and enjoys the company of both people and animals. If Lola sounds like the perfect fit for your home, apply to adopt her today and set up a meet and greet!

Adopt Lola and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Lola's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Lola's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Lola, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Lola's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Lola was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Lola’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Lola’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Lola’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
