About this Dog
09/10/24 04:47DOG DAY OUT REPORT Today I: went out on a nice leisurely walk with a new friend; I love new friends, and I make sure they know, wiggling the whole way up to greet them ??! Iâm a little nervous getting into cars and going on car rides but Iâm warming up to them. We went to Branham Park, and after a 3 mile walk around the surrounding neighborhood, we got to lay in the cool grass where I got lots of pets and snacks. I had so much fun rolling and crawling around in the grass - doesnât my big smile tell it all?!Three Words to Describe Me are: Affectionate, Jolly, Sweet-natured Notes from My Walker: Blue Bear is a big, happy-go-lucky, snuggly teddy bear - and if youâre not sold by that, his smile will surely change that perspective! No shame, as many of us are also still aiming for those beach bodies going into September, but Blue Bear is a thick boy (almost had to extend the collar and harness to their maximum lengths), and he could use a walking buddy to help him reach his goals. He was so excited to meet me and quick to attach himself to his new friend - checked in throughout our walk and enjoyed leaning into me for lots of pets and snacks. He took some coaxing to get into the car, and was whining a bit on the drive to the park but heading back, he was more confident getting in and took a nap on our way back to the shelter. Heâs amazing on leash; leads the way but not once did he have a tight leash, and I experienced no signs of prey drive. Canât help but love the way his butt bounces as he walks too ?? #ShakeYourGrooveThing. After our walk, we laid in the grass for a long while, cooling off and he received lots of scratches and treats - he really enjoys laying on his back while in your lap for belly rubs. 08/01/24 05:47DOG DAY OUT NOTES FROM LAST WEEK:Today I: Today I was so excited to get out of the shelter! I met my new friend and all I could do was wriggle around in excitement as I was getting my harness on, my new friend couldn't stop laughing trying to get the harness on. I was very nervous getting in the car so my friend had to pick me up to get me in but getting out of the car was the easy part. We went on a 4 mile walk and saw a bunch of people, dogs, birds, and squirrels. After the first few moments I stayed close to my friend and checked in a bunch. Halfway through the walk we sat in the grass and I got lots of head and butt scratches and of course plenty of treats for being such a good boy. After the walk we got back in the car and drove around a bit with the windows open so I can see all the sights and then we got a pup cup⦠I wasnt sure about it at first but once I tasted it⦠YUM!Three Words to Describe Me are: Gentle, Friendly, AffectionateNotes from My Walker: Blue is amazing! Harnessing him up was hilarious as he is a thick boy (Thickums, if you will ??) so the collar had to be all the way extended and he was all wiggles and kisses. He was very nervous about getting in the car so I had to pick him up, which he was ok with. He was not reactive at all but was very interested in saying hello to everyone that passed by. Blue was leading the walk for the first 30 mins and then gassed out and stayed by my side for the remainder of the walk. He takes treats gently and is very affectionate. He does not know how to sit, though we tried to learn. He did show a little FAS when I was getting in and out of the car, so we rewarded him going for the ride, waiting for me to get him out, and promoted all the good behavior. Overall, Blue Bear was a great time today and cant wait to get him back out on a walk.

Adopt BLUE BEAR and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, BLUE BEAR's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is BLUE BEAR's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the BLUE BEAR, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming BLUE BEAR's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and BLUE BEAR was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, BLUE BEAR’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, BLUE BEAR’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
