About this Dog
Lapping up love like a thirsty dog sponge, tender 2-year-old Mister thrives on his fosters’ attention. At a fit 55 golden brown pounds, he’s sweeter than sweet as he cuddles and snuggles with them, rests his head on them and then dances and prances about. Friendly towards every adult he meets and sweet around children, he loves playing fetch with big stuffed animals, going for walks, curiously sniff, sniff, sniffing everything in his path, and honing his leash skills along the way. Interacting positively and eagerly with dogs of assorted sizes and learning all about proper people boundaries, Mister is passionate about chewing bones – the more bones the better and the calmer he is! Motivated by food, toys and love, he currently knows “no,” is working on “yes,” “come” and “down,” sleeps soundly inside his crate at night, is almost fully house-trained, and at work on his doggy manners. With much yet to learn, Mister, who’s being treated for heartworm disease and requires more rest than activity, will thrive in a loving home with a securely fenced yard (no cats, please), perhaps with a confident canine already there, and gentle adopters to perfect his manners, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him in snuggles fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours (please check your spam folder for our emails). If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $375. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopt Mister and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mister's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Mister's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Mister, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mister's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mister was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mister’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Mister’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mister’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
