About this Dog
Hi! I am your future best friend and cuddle buddy! I’m Gunnar, a 6-year-old terrier mix with a good sprinkle of Chihuahua, Lab, and maybe a few other breeds, according to my DNA test. At around 35 pounds, I’m a healthy and athletic little guy, ready to bring a lot of joy and laughter into your life. I’m a friendly fellow who gets along great with other dogs. I might be a bit nippy at times—guess that herder dog instinct in me comes out—but don’t worry, I’m not aggressive and I definitely don’t bite. I’ve been working hard on this and I’m improving every day. I’m super intelligent and eager to please, so if you guide me, I’ll be a model companion. I’m a bit of a chatterbox and love to nibble on your ears—it tickles! My favorite way to show affection is with my funny face: I’ll curl up my lips in a playful growl while wagging my whole body and giving you the sweetest squinty-eyed smile. It’s pretty hard not to laugh around me! When it comes to cuddles, I’m a true velcro dog. I can’t get close enough to you, so be prepared for some serious snuggling. I share my foster home with Bruce (also looking for his forever home) and we have an absolute blast running and playing together. I get along with him and all the other dogs, even the older ones who might growl at me—I’m respectful and back off when needed. I may be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly to new people. I promise, with a little time, you’ll see my affectionate and playful side shine through. I’m up-to-date on my vetting, crate trained, and housetrained. I know basic commands and am very well-behaved. I prefer to sleep on the bed with you, snuggled close, but I’m also fine with other dogs joining us. I’m great on the leash and in the car, so we can go on all sorts of adventures together. If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and incredibly cuddly companion, I might just be your perfect match. Let’s meet soon—I can’t wait to find my forever home with you! With love and wagging tails, Gunnar If you would like more information on Gunnar or would like to adopt him, please contact Judy at [email protected] or 865-300-8146. Adoption fee is $150. Adopt Gunnar and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Gunnar's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Gunnar's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Gunnar, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Gunnar's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Gunnar was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Gunnar’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Gunnar’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Gunnar’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
