Meet sisters Tommie and Toodles, our 6-month-old Beagle and Hound mixes. They currently weigh between 23 and 25 pounds, but are expected to mature to around 45 pounds. Tommie wears a short tan and white coat while Toodles sports a short white and brindle coat. They get along wonderfully with other dogs and are the kind of pups who will make you smile even on your worst days! Tommie and Toodles are the perfect blend of energetic playfulness and loving companionship! They are eagerly waiting for a family who will appreciate their loving natures and lively spirits. (ME, 6/28/2024)**It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. Adoption fees for Hope dogs and those who have been at rescue for prolonged amounts of time are reduced to $150 plus a $100 transport fee, as notated in their listings.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Toodles's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Toodles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Toodles’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
