About this Dog
Here comes Hazel! Hazel is estimated to be 3 years old and is the sweetest little girl around. She is very much a little lap dog and wants to always be by your side. She lives for affection and is happiest when she gets to be the center of attention. Hazel is fully growing weighing in about 8lbs. Hazel came to us from a local animal shelter after being found as a stray with a group of other small dogs in a rural part of the county. All of the other dogs got adopted from the shelter, but we were able to scoop her up and place her in a foster home and she has been thriving since. Hazel is the epitome of a Velcro dog and will follow you around, always eager for some love. She would be a perfect companion for someone who works from home or a family with lots of people for her to hang out with. She is a total extrovert who loves making friends wherever she goes and is quick to become your new best friend. She is the perfect petite size for traveling and is content to do whatever, as long as she can be by your side. She is a moderate-energy girl with the energy to play but is also happy to chill on the couch. Hazel seems to not have had any training before coming to us, so her new family will need to be committed to working on her basic manners with her. So far, she has been non-destructive in the home and walks well on a leash. Hazel has done well living with other small dogs but does best with slow introductions. She could live with other small dogs, or she would love to be your one and only canine companion. We haven't seen Hazel around cats, but she may do okay with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Hazel currently lives with two respectful young kids and could be a great addition to a family with kids 5 years or older. Hazel has been doing well with her housetraining but will need someone willing to be patient with her as she will have occasional accidents when settling into a new environment and routine. Hazel has done well being crated for short periods and overnight, though she would love to sleep in bed with you if you let her. She hasn't spent too much time completely alone, so would do best with a family who can slowly acclimate her to being home alone. Hazel is the most darling girl and she is going to make the best BFF for her new person/people. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today! Hazel's adoption fee is $300. Adopt Hazel and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hazel's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Hazel's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Hazel, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Hazel's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hazel was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hazel’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Hazel’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hazel’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
