About this Cat
Oliver was a feral 5 week old kitten hit by a car in a torrential rainstorm. My son-in-law and granddaughter saw it happen and stopped to pick him up. They took him home and to the vet. He had a bruised rib and leaves in his stomach. They called us the next day to come see the kitten and I knew my husband would want to take him home. We did and he was my husband’s shadow for 3 years until my husband died and then he has been my shadow for the past 7 years. He is 10 years old. I am moving to Atlanta to live with my daughter the end of September and sadly, he can’t come with me. He does not liked to be picked up but does like to lay next to his person on the couch or at his/ her feet. He has not been around other cats but he does have a friend named Freya who comes to our patio and they look at each other through the window and he looks forward to her visits. If I say “Freya is here” he comes running. If anyone knocks on the door he hides. He needs to be with a one or two adult home, no kids. He is very smart and listens. I have trained him to not claw furniture. He likes to lay on his perch and look at the birdies. He is an indoor cat. **** Breed: Lo g hair, ? Part main coon. **** Pet Link: https://www.nokillnetwork.org/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2166948&flag=1

Adopt Oliver and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Oliver's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Oliver's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Oliver, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Oliver's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Oliver was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Oliver’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Oliver’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Oliver’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
