About this Dog
MOOSHA NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Moosha Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix type - maybe cairn terrier? Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of September 2024 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 18.3 lbs Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested. Currently Living at: South Carolina Shelter, she will be brought to the DC area soon! Special adoption considerations: Moosha is a truly Lucky Dog. Although {he/she} has tested positive for heartworms, treatment has been scheduled! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to talk more in depth about heartworm disease and treatment during the screening process Moosha is Looking For: Her forever family! This sweetie is barely out of puppyhood and has all that awesome young-dog energy for long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures her new humans can dream up! She'd like to go to dog school, too, so she can show how super smart she is. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well but you know what she wants most of all? To love and be loved, to be safe under her own roof. She has so many adoring gazes and happy tail wags and kisses to give in return. What do you say? Is Moosha the one for your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has arrived in the DC area and spent some time with her foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training. TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and heartworm treatment. Adopt Moosha and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Moosha's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Moosha's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Moosha, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Moosha's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Moosha was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Moosha’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Moosha’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Moosha’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
