About this Dog
Bella is currently at our Rescue in Tarrytown, GA but with an approved application she can be on our next Freedom Ride to NJ. If interested please fillout our application at www.SoCoRescue.com & select Forms. No phone calls please. Bella had been impounded by a Montgomery Co Sheriff's Deputy after he responded to a call of "shots fired" at a home well known for gang and drug activity. Bella was found lying in some bushes, not far from another dog that had been deceased for a few days. She was very frail and way too weak to even stand on her own, with so many fleas that it looked like someone had sprinkled black pepper on her white coat of fur. Inside her ears were literally hundreds of ticks, which would later take our staff close to a week to fully remove. Bella very anemic due to the fleas and ticks and close to suffering heat stroke due to the extremely high temperatures of the past few days. The deputy placed Bella into his patrol car and headed towards the "new" place in Tarrytown that rescues dogs in hopes that they could save her life. Over the next couple of months, Scott Bennett personally tended to Bella, nursing her back to full health. During her stay at SoCo Rescue, Bella has proven to being not only very affectionate, people friendly and playful, but also very smart as she will typically respond well to certain commands. She's obviously had some house training and is also pee pad trained. While she came from a home with other dogs, Bella has not responded well towards the other dogs here that she has came into contact with, so it may be best to limit her to a home without other pets until we have a better understanding of her personality towards other dogs. Bella has now received an update on her annual vaccinations, de-wormings and started on her monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventatives. On Sept 10, 2024 she was spayed & tested negative for Heartworm.

Adopt Bella and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bella's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bella's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bella, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bella's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bella was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bella’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bella’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bella’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
