About this Cat
She’s sugar and spice and beheaded toy mice… Bonbon is pure feline huntress energy! Dainty Bonbon is a complex mix of sweet housecat and feisty wildcat. On the sweet side, she is a chatty, assertively friendly girl who enjoys spending time with her favorite people. She rubs against your legs and demands pets and attention with her adorable, raspy meow. She's very curious about whatever you're doing, and if there's food involved she will definitely insist that you pay the cheese tax. In calmer moments Bonbon likes to cuddle up next to you, perhaps with her head or a paw resting on your leg. When you go to bed, she will happily fill any cat-sized nook between your ankles or under your arm. She certainly does not like closed doors; her insistent meows will announce that she wants to be where the people are! On the feisty side, Bonbon has a high prey drive, lots of energy, and an insatiable curiosity for exploring. She's a smart girl who loves a challenge, be it a new puzzle ball feeder or learning to high-five for treats. But with her boundless energy, Bonbon gets easily bored and frustrated. This sometimes manifests as swatty or nippy behavior. Also, she can get overstimulated with too much petting, so her adopters will need to learn to read her cues and know when to give her space. Bonbon is happiest and on her best behavior after a long play session. Bonbon's adopters will need to provide her with regular exercise and lots of intellectual stimulation in her environment. We think she would be thrilled if she had a safe outdoor space where she could patrol and hunt real varmints — she'd love a yard with a cat-proof fence, or to be out in a country home with some land where she can safely be an indoor-outdoor kitty. She could also enjoy life as a working cat at a barn or business. Age: 2-3 years How I came to PAWS: Found stray Animal ID#: A56542 I am not at the shelter. Adopt Bonbon and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bonbon's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Bonbon's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Bonbon, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Bonbon's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bonbon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bonbon’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Bonbon’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bonbon’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
